VIDEO: INMATE ESCAPES FROM PRISON, JUMPS BARB WIRE FENCE

Security footage shows murder suspect Wuanya Smith escaping from prison. Wuanya made a daring escape from the Saline County Detention Center in Benton, Arkansas on September 11, 2022. The time was at 10:30 a.m. when Wuanya jumped a barbed wire fence during recreation time on the prison yard.

The inmate then ran several yards to jump another bared wired fence. Wuanya runs to freedom while taking off his prison shirt.

Officials in the camera room noticed an inmate jump the fence and they ran to the fence to look for Wuanya, but he was already gone.

Wuanya was found within 24 hours and brought back to jail.
