A large group of people were celebrating Juneteenth.
The Juneteenth celebration marks the end of slavery of black people in the United States over 100 years ago. The Charlotte celebration included random pop up cookouts and designer vehicles that were doing burn out tire spins in the middle of the road.
All of a sudden a group of people started randomly shooting into the crowd. 8 people were shot, while 4 people were killed in the shooting.
Of the murdered people are: Dairyon Stevenson, Jamaa Cassell, 39, Kelly Miller, 29, and Christopher Gleaton, 28.
No arrests have been made.
