On March 5, 2023, a group of violent agitators attacked the construction site of the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center in Atlanta, GA.
The protesters are against the police department building the training center. The protesters thus conducted a coordinated attack on construction equipment and police officers.
The protesters went through a wooded area and a back trail to get to the training center site. The group then entered the construction area and began throwing large rocks, bricks, Molotov cocktails, and fireworks at police officers. The attack forced the police to run for cover.
The agitators destroyed multiple pieces of construction equipment by fire and vandalism. Multiple law enforcement agencies deployed to the area and detained several people committing illegal activity.
35 protestors have been detained so far.
