Video, a father was killed in front of his family by armed men during a home invasion
In August 2025 two family members were killed in a home invasion within a gated community.
The attack was in Daule, Ecuador. At 2:30 a.m. several men armed with high powered weapons broke into a home in a wealthy gated community.
To gain entry into the community, the suspects pointed guns at security personnel and seized their weapons and cell phones.
The suspects kicked down the door to a residence and ran into the bedroom of a man and woman sleeping. The men are seen hitting the victims. The suspects are heard speaking Spanish.
The suspects then shoot and kill the man in front of his family. Another victim was also killed off camera. The suspects leave, it is unclear if they stole anything.
Police arrived an hour later, only 2 patrol police vehicles cover the entire area.
