On July 14, 2022 a fight broke out at the Orangeburg County Court in South Carolina. Willie Clay Fields, 57, attacked Lindy Jones by punching him in the face.
Lindy confessed to murdering Willie’s son identified as 18-year-old Willie Antoine Fields.
Lindy murdered the teenage Willie in August 2019. Lindy pleaded guilty to the homicide.
During a family impact statement on July 14th, the elder Willie and his wife were standing together. As Willie’s wife made the statement, Willie is seen standing beside her and then quickly running towards Lindy and punching him in the face while Lindy was in handcuffs.
Willie then tackles Lindy to the ground. Cops rushed and grabbed Willie, pulling him off of Lindy. Lindy is then heard saying,
“Bitch I will beat your ass boy!!”
Willie was arrested and charged with one count of contempt of court and third degree assault and battery.
