37-year-old Portia Odufuwa fired several shots at the Dallas Love Field Airport in Dallas, Texas on July 25, 2022.
Portia is seen on video entering the airport with no luggage. She walked to the front of the lobby area and began rambling about marriage to Chris Brown.
Portia then said she had an announcement to make and she fired several shots into the airport ceiling. Frightened passengers instantly hit the ground and ran for cover.
A police officer was nearby and fired several shots at Portia, hitting her. Portia went down and was bleeding. Portia was taken to the hospital and was arrested after being released from medical care.
No cops, passengers, or airport staff were shot. Some people were injured while running from the gunfire.
Airport operations were suspended for hours, also dozens of flights were canceled.
In 2019 a judge found Portia incompetent to stand trial after she was accused of robbing a bank.
