VICTIM MURDERED IN STAIR CASE OF APARTMENTS

Michael Feldman, 61, was murdered on June 5, 2023 at the Holly Crest Apartments on Holly Crest Lane Huntersville, NC. Randy Gonzales-Mugaburu, 30, was charged with the homicide. The apartments are in a busy area of the city.

In the afternoon at 4:30 p.m. on June 5th several people called 911 to report a shooting at the apartment complex. Witnesses directed cops to Michael, who had been shot several times in a staircase at the building.

When officers arrived on scene they discovered a middle-aged white male identified as Michael suffering from gun shot wounds. He was pronounced deceased by Medic personnel.

Witnesses described a male running from the area of the shooting and provided a description of him. Minutes later, Huntersville officers received several calls for service in the residential community just east of the Holly Crest Apartments, describing a male exhibiting bizarre behavior and approaching people.

Officers encountered this suspect identified as Randy and arrested him. He is charged with first degree murder.
