2 young boys ran off with marijuana vape pins without paying, so the suspect shot at them
Zaier Davis, 18, was arrested on June 1, 2025 accused of shooting at two teenagers during a marijuana vape pin deal gone bad. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
On May 31, 2025 two teenagers agreed to meet with Zaier to purchase marijuana
vapes. The 2 teens did not have enough money to purchase the vape pins
from Zaier, so they took the vape pins and ran off without paying.
Zaier then shot at the teens as they fled on foot. The teens were not hit. Zaier got in a white Honda and fled. The juvenile victims called police and gave then Zaier’s Instagram page, officers were able to identify the defendant as Zaier.
Zaier was later arrested in a traffic stop and charged with assault with a deadly weapon intent to kill.
