16-year-old Jaiden Harris was shot and killed in a wild shooting on Friday the 13th September 2024. The shooting was at a residence on Burnt Umber Drive Charlotte, NC. The myth of Friday the 13th varies, it derives from a horror movie and ancient culture, it represents a day when bad things are more likely to happen.
At 7 p.m. Jaiden was shot inside a home on Burnt Umber Drive. Upon arrival, officers located Jaiden dead. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram. As a result of the investigation, detectives identified a 12-year-old juvenile as a suspect in this case.
15-year-old Anthony Smith was murdered earlier this week in Charlotte
The juvenile was transported to police headquarters in uptown Charlotte to speak with homicide detectives.
