Siblings fight and argue all the time, but things went too far for brothers Shameir Johnson, 19, (Left) and Aasim Johnson, 25, (Right).
Shameir ended up stabbing his brother Aasim to death during a domestic dispute.
On June 20, 2018 Shameir and Aasim got into a argument at 2127 Candlelight Woods Drive, Matthews, NC when Aasim came home from work at 5pm. The argument between the two brothers escalated to the point that a family member attempted to separate the young men, but was unsuccessful. It was then that Aasim punched the younger Shameir in the face several times.
Shameir then ran into the kitchen and gabbed a knife, Shameir then approched Aasim with the knife and swung, stabbing Aasim in the chest.
The mother of the two brothers then rushed the bleeding Aasim to Novant Health Matthews Medical Center. Novant security contacted police advising that their was a stab victim in the emergency room. Aasim was pronounced deceased at 5:17pm, just 17 minutes after he got off work.
Shameir was located by Matthews police and interviewed by Detective Townsend. Shameir confessed to stabbing Aasim due to the argument and fight. Shameir was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.
