19-year-old John Mast is accused of uploading child pornography to the internet in Taylorsville, NC. John was arrested on November 3, 2020.
The charges against John stemmed from a tip sent to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force about a person in Alexander County uploading child porn. Officials obtained search warrants that led them to John. Investigators say John was in possession of 35 separate items of child pornography.
John is charged with 35 counts of felony third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He has a bond of $500,000 secured.
