Nehemiah was sentenced to prison involved in murder of a college hoop star in a drive by shooting
On April 23, 2025 Nehemiah Kelly, 18, pleaded guilty to two counts of accessory after the fact to first degree murder in connection to the double homicide of Jaylan Jackson, 19, and Jayden Munson, 19. The teenagers were killed in Mt. Holly, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Jayden was a basketball player at Louisburg College. In December 2023 Jaylan and Jayden were sitting in a vehicle.

A car pulled up and shot the victims dead in a drive-by shooting. The suspect vehicle then sped off. The vehicle the victims were in then rolled down a hill and crashed.

Nehemiah was later arrested charged with double murder. At trial he instead pled guilty to accessory after the fact to murder and was given a 16 year prison sentence. Marquan Marshall and Zabreon Wallace were also arrested charged with murder, they are still waiting to go to trial.
