On February 05, 2024 Curtis Elliott, 34, was arrested charged with the murder of Jamal Jones, 32. The victim was shot and killed on January 31, 2023 in Charlotte, NC.
Jamal was murdered during a shooting on North Davidson Street at 8 a.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Over a year later on February 5, 2024 Curtis was arrested charged with Jamal’s murder. But Curtis was already in jail.
Curtis was incarcerated in the North Carolina Department of Corrections for an unrelated matter when cops issued warrants for his homicide arrest.
It is not known if Curtis will face trial during his current prison incarceration, or after his prison term for the murder charge.
