Donquavis Johnson, 18, is charged with the murder of Antwon Risher, 19. The victim was shot and killed on March 14, 2020 on Griffith Street Charlotte, NC.
Antwon was shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex and died on scene.
On March 15, 2020, officers located the suspect vehicle associated with this case and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. The vehicle refused to stop, and a vehicle pursuit ensued. Officers initially lost sight of the vehicle but were able to relocate it after it had caused a collision with another unoccupied vehicle.
No police vehicles were involved in the collision. After the pursuit ended, Donquavis was arrested charged with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
