Jyasin Dearmon, 20, was shot and killed on January 26, 2021 on West Sugar Creek Road Charlotte, NC. Jawonn Mcilwain, 22, is the suspect in Jyasin’s murder and was arrested on January 27th.
A shooting erupted and two victims were shot, one victim was treated at a hospital, while the second victim Jyasin died from his wounds.
On January 27, 2021, at 3:00 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle of interest in the murder. As a result of this traffic stop, Jawonn was placed under arrest and eventually charged with carrying a concealed weapon, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspire to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, and murder.
Jamias Shropshire was shot and killed on January 24, 2021. And a day later Jonathan Robinson, 33, was shot and killed on January 25, 2021 on Creekridge Road.
