Paul Ervin, 55, is fairly well known, but he died in Charlotte, NC on February 13, 2025. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Paul had a medical emergency and died. He often was seen on the streets of Charlotte speaking to people and proclaiming various messages.
It earned him the nickname “Moses”. In 2019 Paul was inside his apartment when an attacker busted in and slashed Paul in the face multiple times.
Paul was also stabbed in the shoulder, rib cage, and lungs. The attacker fled. Paul was in the hospital intensive care unit for weeks.
Paul recovered, but in February 2025 he died from a medical emergency. Paul’s funeral is scheduled for March 9, 2025. Paul leaves behind an adult daughter.
