On April 05, 2023 a shooting occurred at the Millennium One Apartments on 1721 Thomas Combs Dr. Charlotte, NC. The apartments are near The University of North Carolina Charlotte and many students live at the apartments off campus.
Around 10:30 p.m. a fight erupted during a pool party at the apartments. The altercation led to shots being fired. One victim was shot in the leg.
Several suspects ran off into the woods. The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
