Milton Hasty, 31, was sentenced to 21 years in prison followed by a lifetime of supervised release on March 24, 2023 in Charlotte, NC for sex trafficking of a minor.
According to court documents and the sentencing hearing, from January 22, 2019, to June 5, 2019, Milton sex trafficked an underage female, knowing the victim was a minor, for his financial benefit.
Court documents show that Milton met the victim through a mutual female acquaintance. Upon meeting the victim, Milton took photographs of the victim, posted escort advertisements online, booked hotel rooms, and arranged the victim’s sexual encounters with customers.
For over five months Milton and the minor victim traveled to various cities throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia, where the victim engaged in commercial sex acts.
Milton set up sexual encounters for the minor victim twenty four hours a day and seven days a week. Milton kept almost all of the money the victim earned from these commercial sexual encounters.

The girl told someone, and Milton was eventually arrested in 2019.
On October 13, 2021, Milton pleaded guilty to sex trafficking of a minor. In March 2023 Milton was sentenced to prison.
