School principal had sexual relations with female student
On May 12, 2025 former middle school principal Tasha Purnell, 44, has pled guilty to raping a female child at a school in New Castle County, Delaware. The principal changed her name from Tasha Oliver. Follow our new Instagram page.
The incidents all happened between 2010 and 2014 while Tasha was working as a teacher at Stanton Middle School. She is accused of sexually assaulting the female victim several times.
Tasha engaged in sexual penetration with the girl who was under the age of 16.
Tasha later became the principal of A.I. Middle School starting in 2020. When the allegations came to light Tasha was suspended, and then fired.
In May 2025 Tasha pled guilty to two counts of rape and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child. Tasha must undergo sex offender counseling and mental health evaluation and treatment.
She will be sentenced to prison in August 2025.
