Cheyenne Hines, 24, was arrested on December 5, 2021 in Charlotte, NC. She is accused of assaulting an elderly man at a Quik Trip gas station on Monroe Road on Thanksgiving Day 2021. The suspect had a recent pregnancy.
Cheyenne allegedly was at the Quik Trip gas station on Thanksgiving Day 2021 begging people for money. Officials say Cheyenne asked an elderly man for cash inside the Quik Trip, the man said no.
Officials then say that Cheyenne became very agitated. As the victim was leaving the store, the suspect allegedly confronted him in the parking lot of the Quik Trip.
Authorities say Cheyenne assaulted him by striking him and pushing him to the ground, causing minor injuries to the victim’s face and hand. The suspect fled the scene.
Cheyenne was arrested several days later in Charlotte and charged with assault and battery. Cheyenne has a history of misdemeanor larceny and drug charges.
