Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit arrested and charged convicted sex offender Pastor Robert Price, 56, in Charlotte, NC. Pastor Price is an associate pastor currently at Camino Church and formerly at Kings Way Baptist Church in Concord, NC.
Pastor Price was arrested on August 4, 2023 without incident by the police department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team.
Pastor Price is charged with 13 counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of statutory sexual offense from incidents involving juveniles who were between the ages of 9–15 years of age at the time of the alleged sex crimes.
An Elevation church youth leader was arrested accused of sexually molesting kids
The alleged criminal sex encounters took place between 2001–2011. It is unknown if the victims were male or female.
But Pastor Price was given prison time in 2014 for sexual molesting young boys at the church on several occasions, including church trips to watch the Atlanta Braves play, a Six Flags amusement park trip, and an overseas trip to the Dominican Republic.

The child sex crimes from the pastor’s 2014 conviction took place between 2000-2006.Pastor Price served all 16 months in prison and was released in December of 2015.
