An old man went out in the snow and he is now missing
Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 64-year-old Jammelee Evans. He went missing on January 30, 2026 Charlotte, NC in the snow.
A massive snow storm hit Charlotte, NC and South Carolina, dumping 8 plus inches of snow. Mr. Evans was last seen on foot on Sunset Road in Charlotte around 10:30 p.m.
Mr. Evans was wearing a black baseball cap, a black zip-up jacket, dark colored pants, and Nike Air Jordan sneakers.
Mr. Evans has a cognitive impairment and may be lost or confused.
