Jameisha Wilkes was murdered in broad daylight at Charlotte apartments, now her daughter is without a mom
Dasean Maddox, 32, is accused of murdering Jameisha Wilkes, 33, on November 13, 2024 at apartments on Strive Street Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
In the afternoon on November 13th Jameisha was walking to her apartment unit in a stairwell. A male then approached Jameisha and shot her dead, while also taking her cell phone. The suspect fled the scene. 911 was called, and EMS pronounced Jameisha dead on the scene.
As a result of this continued investigation, detectives identified Dasean as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest.

Dasean was arrested on November 13, 2024 charged with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Jameisha had a young 7-year-old daughter.
