Two homicides within hours of each other have occurred in Charlotte, NC. The first involved a double shooting on Tuckaseegee Road on June 29, 2020.
The most recent homicide was also on June 29 and on Trinity Road. Shortly after 11:40 p.m. someone had been shot and was pronounced deceased on scene.
Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene to conduct an investigation, and Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence. Representatives from the CMPD’s Operations Command, Victim’s Assistance, CFD and MEDIC also assisted.
