On June 29, 2020 a man was killed in a wild shooting in Charlotte, NC. 34-year-old Channing Byers was shot and killed on Trinity Road moments before midnight.
Officers responded to 911 calls of someone who had been shot. Channing was found shot dead. Channing was pronounced deceased on scene.
Channing’s murder now marks the 9th homicide in Charlotte within a week. The other murders can be found here.
