Ebonee McNiel, 28, and Travis Ingram, 27, robbed a man and then went on a shopping spree. The robbery occurred at the Gateway Lofts on West Trade St. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The Gateway Lofts is rather pricey, so these criminals knew they could come up big at the right moment and the right target.
On January 20, 2018 at gunpoint the two robbed Micheal Lee, 30, on the seventh level parking deck at 2:50am. The suspects took the victim’s driver’s license, cash, and several of his major credit cards.
But it didn’t stop there; affixed by greed Ebonee and Travis went on a shopping spree with all of Micheal’s credit cards. The credit card companies then helped police track the suspects down based on purchases etc.
Ebonee was arrested late last week and Travis was arrested today.
