22-year-old Austin Altman was arrested Saturday night October 12, 2019 on accusations he raped a 10-year-old girl he met on Snapchat in Hernando County, FL.
Austin drove to pick up the 10-year-old girl at her house without her parents knowing. Austin then allegedly took the girl back to his house in Spring Hill, FL.
At his house, the suspect forced her to have sexual intercourse with him, holding her down by her throat and ignoring her demands to stop.
Austin admitted to meeting the girl over Snapchat, picking her up, and having sex with her. The girl underwent a sexual assault rape kit after the encounter.
Austin was arrested and transported to the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center.
