Travell Watts, 28, was killed on Wilkinson Blvd. Charlotte, NC on October 8, 2025 during a pedestrian crash.

At approximately 6:13 a.m., Travell was walking across the street outside of a designated crosswalk when he was struck by a Kia car. He died within minutes.
The driver of the Kia was screened for impairment and was found to not be impaired. Impairment is unknown for Watts; toxicology results are pending. Speed does not appear to be a contributing factor of this collision.
Medics transported the Kia driver to the hospital with minor injuries.
