MAN KILLED ON CHRISTMAS EVE 2019, SUSPECT ARRESTED IN YEAR 2020

54-year-old Marvin Staton has been charged with second-degree murder in a shooting that left 63-year-old George Agee dead at a Charlotte, NC gas station on Christmas Eve 2019.

The murder happened on North Tryon Street, just north of uptown around 9 p.m. on December 24, 2019.

Initial information indicated an altercation took place at the gas station between George and a gas station employee when the shooting happened. George was shot multiple times and killed. His body was found laying on the sidewalk.

Marvin was arrested on January 8, 2020.

Curtis Massey was just standing talking to his friends when police automatically thought the black men were doing something wrong and chased them. Curt had a gun and police shot him while he was running away. The family better sue the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department for millions of dollars for wrongful death, 4th Amendment constitutional violations, civil rights violations and racial profiling. The police dont take things seriously until riots and lawsuits take place. Cops do this everyday to black folks. We poke fun at many things, but what the cops did today is real life racism
