Matthew Midkiff, 31, (Seen here) was killed on Sunday night after being hit by a truck.
The hit and run crash happened on North Graham Street just north of Toal Street at 9:17pm. Matthew was standing in the right lane of the roadway when he was struck. The section of the roadway had no crosswalks or pedestrian signals.
MEDIC responded and pronounced Matthew deceased. The vehicle that struck Matthew failed to stop at the scene and fled south on N. Graham Street. The CMPD’s Major Crash Investigation Unit and the DWI Task Force responded to the scene to conduct an investigation.
