Reggie Knight, 28, was killed by police during a shooting SWAT standoff on March 7, 2025 in Charlotte, NC. Reggie was shot at a residence on Headquarters Farm Road. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
At 4:30 p.m., officers and SWAT team members were attempting to serve several warrants on Reggie.
Officers for whatever reason thought a deadly threat was present and they discharged their service weapons shooting Reggie.
Two officers were transported to the hospital with non life threatening injures. Reggie was pronounced deceased on scene.
The CMPD is the lead investigating agency in this case. The officers involved have been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation per standard protocol.
