On the afternoon of May 21, 2021 a murder erupted in Charlotte, NC on busy South Tryon Street.
An assault with a deadly weapon call sent officers speeding to the scene. A man had been shot and killed. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.
There have been multiple people murdered in Charlotte during the bright daytime hours. In fact, 21-year-old Devonte Washington was shot and killed on May 17, 2021 in broad daylight.
Also, Ashford Peal was shot and killed in the afternoon at apartments in May 2021.
