34-year-old Sanrico McGill was shot and killed by police on December 16, 2023 during the Christmas holiday season in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Sanrico and another person were involved in a altercation at a home on Catherine Simmons Avenue at 6 a.m.
Cops received reports about two people fighting. Police say Sanrico was one of the people involved in the fight and was allegedly actively shooting when police arrived. Police told Sanrico to drop the weapon, cops then shot Sanrico dead. Unfortunately no cops were shot during the ordeal.
