Jamontae Morris, 22, was shot and killed at off campus apartments for The University of North Carolina Charlotte on Forty Niner Avenue. The call for service came in at approximately 8:10 p.m. on March 18, 2019.
An altercation occurred at the off campus apartments that resulted in Jamontae being shot. Jamontae was transported to the hospital by paramedics with life-threatening injuries.
Today, March 19, 2019, Jamontae was pronounced deceased by medical personnel at Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center. No word of any suspects at the moment.
