MAN FOUND NOT GUILTY IN MURDER OF MAN AT BERKELEY PLACE APARTMENTS

The Charlotte, NC trial of Michael Duncan, 29, ended on July 17 with a jury’s verdict of not guilty.

The trial began July 8, 2019, before Judge Carla Archie.

Michael was tried for first-degree murder for the May 2016 killing of 46-year-old Darian Curry in Charlotte, NC at the Berkeley Place Apartments. The jury found Michael not guilty.

Duncan’s codefendant, Marsean Allison, previously pled guilty to second-degree murder. Marsean was sentenced to 228-286 months in prison.
