On October 15, 2019 27-year-old Jordan Simmons was arrested and charged with the murder of 2-year-old Sevynn Clark. The young child died in September 2019 in Statesville, NC officials say.
On Sept. 5, emergency personnel were called to a home on Alexander Street and found Sevynn unresponsive. The child was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Jordan was arrested in Spartanburg County, South Carolina and charged with second-degree murder and felony intentional child abuse with serious bodily injuries.
