On December 16, 2021 Louis Meadows, 32, was arrested, accused of beating and kidnapping a woman on Driftwood Drive Charlotte, NC. Video shows that the altercation was on December 15, 2021.
The doorbell footage shows a violent encounter between a man and a woman. The female victim can be seen attempting to flee from the male suspect on foot while seeking help and knocking on a door at 3 in the morning.
As a result of continued investigation and community assistance, detectives were able to identify both the victim and suspect in this case. On December 16, 2021 at approximately 11:30 a.m., members of the North Carolina DMV Incident Management Assistance Patrol (IMAP) located the suspect vehicle and requested officers assistance.
Officers responded and Louis was charged with 1st degree kidnapping and assault on a female.
