Xaveon Dunn, 22, is charged with the double murder of Jakailah Jackson, 27, and Dondrake Blackmoore, 26. The victims were killed in front of their own child in Charlotte, NC on October 19, 2020.
Jakailah and Dondrake were savagely killed in a shooting on Kilborne Drive at a gas station in front of their child. A vehicle pulled up beside them and shot Dondrake in the face, Jakailah was shot too. The suspect then fled.
Dondrake died on site. Jakailah was taken to the hospital by paramedics, but she eventually died. The child of the deceased victims was not shot.
As a direct result of tips and the concerted efforts between the police Targeted Response Apprehension Unit (TRAP) Xaveon was located on October 20, 2020 at a private residence in Charlotte.
Xaveon is charged with two counts of murder, attempted murder, discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
