Raheem Fuller, 30, is the suspect in the murder of Juan Velazquez Hernandez, 37. Juan was killed in Charlotte, NC at the La Poblanita Bar and Grill located at 1925 Westinghouse Boulevard on February 5, 2020.
Raheem is accused of entering the business and shooting the victim. The motive behind the shooting is still unknown. At the time of this shooting, the victim was working for a business which had been hired by the restaurant to perform maintenance on some kitchen equipment.
Raheem was identified as a suspect in this case and warrants were obtained for his arrest. On February 7, 2020, Raheem was observed by officers on Westinghouse Blvd.
When officers attempted to make contact with Raheem, he ran from them. After a short foot chase, Raheem was apprehended without further incident.
Raheem is charged with Murder, Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, and 1st Degree Kidnapping.
