HIBACHI EXPRESS JAPANESE RESTAURANT GETS 87 HEALTH SCORE, LACK OF HAND WASHING

The Hibachi Express Japanese restaurant located on 7945 North Tryon Street Charlotte, NC earned a bad health score of 87 during a inspection on December 9, 2019.

The employees were not washing their hands when needed. The inspector explained that more hand washing was needed and employees were made to wash hands.

There was no certified food protection manager onsite during the inspection.

Another Asian restaurant called The River Buffet scored an 88 during a health inspection.

The Hibachi Express Japanese restaurant inspection noted that there was no soap at the hand wash sink.

An employee’s personal raw eggs were stored above ready to eat foods in the walk in cooler. The inspector instructed that the personal food should be moved to a different shelf.

During the inspection unlabeled containers of sauces were being stored in empty shiracha bottles. Also there were several containers of food stored on the ground.
