The loss prevention manager was alerted by another manager that a significant amount of money was being stolen from the business prior to it being deposited in a bank.

Management investigated the issue and found that all of the money was being stolen while assistant
manager Morgan Jeffries was supposed to be in charge of depositing the money into a safe
inside the store.
Surveillance footage allegedly showed Morgan taking money on multiple occasions. Morgan was in charge of all money deposits.
On April 14, 2025 two undercover employees were sent into the store with four marked $50.00 dollar bills to buy items. In the money room Morgan was allegedly seen on surveillance taking the marked bills and concealing them in her pockets.
911 was called and responding officers were able to review the footage. $700.00 was missing from the safes and tills. Management and police confronted Morgan and she pulled out $700 cash from her pocket.
