FORMER WEST CHARLOTTE HIGH STUDENT MURDERED OVERNIGHT

On June 29, 2021 Joshua Hollingsworth, 20, was killed in a homicide on Mayfield Terrace Drive Charlotte, NC around 11:45 p.m. 

The victim was shot during an altercation. Emergency medics transported the victim to a local hospital. The victim was eventually pronounced deceased.

The victim is a former West Charlotte High School student. 21-year-old Devonte Washington also attended the same high school; Devonte was shot and killed on May 17, 2021.
