FATHER KILLS TEENAGE DAUGHTER AND HIS WIFE AT DSS OFFICE

Maria Julian-Pichardo, 45, was murdered by her husband Rafael Lopez, 51, on February 19, 2025. Rafael also murdered his daughter Yamilaine Sosa Julian, 19. The women were shot and killed at the Cabarrus County DSS office in Harrisburg, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Maria was in a divorce and custody dispute with Rafael. The married couple had a younger daughter that was just 6-years-old, but the girl was not present at the time of the deadly shootings. Maria also took out a temporary 50-B Domestic Protective Order on Rafael.

In the parking lot of the DSS office Rafael shot and killed Yamilaine and Maria. Rafael fled the scene. 

After 911 was called and a vehicle description was given, cops spotted Rafael in traffic. Click here to see more marriage news, some ended with spouses killing each other.

A high speed chase began. After a few minutes Rafael crashed on the highway. Rafael then shot and killed himself. Yamilaine attended Hickory Ridge High School.

This is one for the record books. A "HOODuni" caucasian woman broke out of cuffs, got out of patrol car and ran for freedom
