A deadly collision landed one man in jail, another male victim died
Lamar Redfern, 43, was arrested charged in the deadly crash that killed Joseph Wash, 43, on Park Road Charlotte, NC. Joseph was a father and leaves behind a loving family.
On September 19, 2023, at approximately 10:46 p.m., Joseph was driving a Toyota on Park Rd. and was making a left turn onto Birnen Drive. A Jeep driven by Lamar was traveling on Park Road allegedly at a high rate of speed.
The Jeep struck the passenger side of the Toyota. Joseph died on the scene. Both vehicles had heavy front end damage.
Lamar was injured and taken to the hospital. After his release from medical care, Lamar was arrested and charged with felony death by motor vehicle and reckless driving.
