A plastic surgery doctor allegedly video recorded himself having sex with female patients while under anesthetics
A plastic surgeon in Ohio is accused of drugging, then sexually assaulting women while they were unconscious. According to the FBI, Manish Raj Gupta, 49, was arrested on March 6 ,2020 after police raided two of his medical offices and his home in Sylvania, Ohio. Dr. Gupta was charged with illegally dispensing controlled substances, aggravated sexual abuse, and sex trafficking.
Dr. Gupta allegedly drugged and performed sex acts on adult female patients and video recorded the sex acts. The FBI says the recordings were located on electronic storage devices found in Dr. Gupta’s desk at one of his medical offices.
The recordings clearly depict not just the sexual activity and unconscious state of the women in them but also small cameras positioned around the room during the sex acts and Dr. Gupta’s face, the FBI says. There were more than 20 different video recordings of unconscious victims found during the raids at Dr. Gupta’s home and medical offices.
One of Dr. Gupta’s employees found multiple SD cards containing videos of Dr. Gupta having sex with women patients who appeared to be unconscious. The employee gave the SD cards to another person, who provided them to the FBI.
Dr. Gupta is a board-certified plastic surgeon and medical doctor licensed by the State of Ohio and Michigan.
