“Henry Black, 49, is accused of sexually assaulting two female victims. Henry was arrested on September 12, 2019 in Myrtle Beach. Henry is the Chair of the Charlotte Citizens Review Board in Charlotte, NC.
On September 3, 2019, the victim, who is now an adult, reported that she was sexually assaulted and identified Henry as the suspect. An investigation was immediately launched and during the course of the investigation a second female victim who is also now an adult was identified and stated that she was too sexually assaulted by Henry.
The sexual assaults allegedly began when the victims were children and continued over a 22-year span between 1996 and 2018.
Detectives developed probable cause and obtained warrants for Henry’s arrest. Henry was arrested this morning in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Henry has been charged with multiple counts of Statutory Rape, Statutory Sex Offense, Indecent Liberties with Children, Child Abuse-Sexual Act, and Incest.
Henry is also a co-founder of the Genesis Project 1, Inc. The website for the foundation says their goal is to provide a professional and confidential setting for the psychological, emotional, and developmental support of families.”
