A chiropractor in Franklin, North Carolina has been accused of committing sex crimes against his patients.
59-year-old Erik Madsen has been charged with at least four counts of sexual battery and assault on a female.
Franklin police Chief David Adams says female patients reported being touched inappropriately during treatments for lower back pain. Allegations from 4 women allege that Erik used his hands to touch them in private areas all over the course of the year 2019.
Chief Adams says Erik has also practiced in Florida and Virginia. The North Carolina board for chiropractors has been notified.
