The victim was shot 3 times and died at apartments during dispute
28-year-old Damien Crandell was murdered in an apartment shooting on November 23, 2025 at the Lakeview Apartments in Fort Mill, SC.
At 9 p.m. Damien was in a verbal altercation with a friend. The argument turned physical and Damien was shot 3 times at the apartments.
Damien was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS. The shooter is cooperating, but no charges are likely to be filed due to a possible self defense claim.
The apartments where the deadly shooting happened is right off Carowinds Boulevard and I-77, less than a mile from the North Carolina-South Carolina state line.
