The employee and or contractor was killed around 11 in the morning. Little is known about the specifics of the industrial accident.
It is possible the victim may of fell from a high piece of equipment onto the rocks. Emergency workers are on scene.
The North Carolina Department of Labor confirmed it has opened an investigation into the fatal incident.
