A Charlotte Area Transportation System bus driver was physically assaulted while driving a city bus on April 12, 2022 on Tuckaseegee Road Charlotte, NC. The female bus driver was 60 years old.
A male bus rider boarded the bus at 3 in the afternoon and beat up the bus driver during a fare disagreement. At one point, the suspect picked up a trash can on the bus and hit the female driver in the face.
The victim was taken to the hospital and was in stable condition. No suspect has been arrested. The victim had extensive injuries to her face.
